As smart grid enters overall construction period, China has become one of the hot market in global smart grid development driven by national project "strong and smart grid". China will invest 7.3 billion US dollars on the project and plan to basically build a strong smart grid in 2015, therefore initially achieves the goal of world-class grid and fully bring resources capacity, operational efficiency, security level, technology level of the national grid to the international advanced level.

        During "Twelfth Five-year Plan" period, the State Grid Corporation will increase investment on development of Fujian smart grid, power supply, electric car, service network, electrical equipment manufacturing industry and some projects. Fujian has determined the smart grid key construction projects, and the provincial electric power company will focus on smart grid comprehensive construction project in the west coast of the Taiwan Straits, Xiamen. This project includes 13 smart grid basic support, application and promotion, pilot and demonstration projects construction, so as to comprehensively upgrade Fujian grid intelligent level.

        Therefore, an dramatically increased demand for electricity, electrician, power automation, intelligent power system equipment was triggered. The massive smart grid project will bring great chance to the domestic and foreign of the same industry in the next 10 years.
